If you love showing off on your BMX and you think you are getting good enough to step up to the crazy tricks that the pros do, you will want to try the Superman no-footer. If you can land this mother and ride away with style you are going to look pretty damn cool. This is not for the beginner so make sure you can do some regular 'no footers' with confidence before you embark on this one....
Step one
To start with you are going to need to find a jump that's gonna give you plenty of hang-time, especially when your learning. A table top with a ten foot gap should be a good starter. You can progress to longer faster jump when you build up your confidence.
Step two
Approach the ramp with enough speed to get you easily across, you don't want to be half way though your superman pose and realise you're not gonna make it.
Step three
As soon as you lift off the ramp, slide your feet off two the sides. Do this gently so you don't push the bike away, if you do you wont be able to get it back in time and probably end up in a nasty tangle of limbs and bent metal.
Step four
Push the bike out in front of you smoothly, don't jerk or else you'll lose it, extend your arms into the Superman position, you should be able to get your body flat and horizontal so put your feet together and straighten your legs as if flying like a speeding bullet. The bike should be out in front and parallel with your body.
Step five
Hopefully you are at the apex of your jump about now and no further because the hardest part is still to come. Just because you got into the Superman position it won't count for much until you nail the landing. So start pulling you feet up towards the bike now...
Step six
Get back on the bike as you plummet towards the landing area; make sure you are coming in straight and level. You'll probably need to pull the back of the bike up a bit for a smooth landing
Step seven
Land it, smoothly and in control. Roll to a stop, get off and take a bow and soak up the applause.
If done properly an attack is more amazing volleyball skills in professional sports. Unfortunately for many of us, the attack volleyball, a skill that can seem very complicated to learn. But nothing is impossible! No matter what your height, go with some perseverance and mastery of basic skills, the kill rate through the roof in no time.
For starters, I recommend this exercise. Requires nothing but a volleyball net and a tennis ballIt can be done almost anywhere. If you have a partner, a tennis ball, saving you time and keep the race from anywhere to capture the gym, but if not just think about how your heart for the day.
Players who have learned their basic approach leg work and are willing to swing to get a quick arm and wrist snap to bring out the best of this use of the drill. It helps you learn to really start the ball court (instead of duck with viewersAnxiety).
At the beginning of a tennis ball drill bit set in the opposing hand and move the starting point for any kind of attack should be made. So if you have an outside (left side) hitter, is that it would be one or two steps near the border of the judge and a step or two behind at 10 feet (3 meters) from the left.
Create your approach to any kind of footwork you're more comfortable with the foot plant and jump as high as possible. If you are about to attack, if you wantnormally take the volley ball, throw the tennis ball instead. Really concentrate on arm swing and see where the ball is in the courtyard of the landing. And do not stop swinging the arm when the tennis ball was thrown, and you want to simulate your bike attack, holding the follow through in force. I like to think of "neighborhoods in hand" when someone is standing behind me while I broke my neck, wrist and arm up to have swung back in the area for the time ICountry, so the person could put some quarters in her hand.
This technique allows you to focus on a fast track with your swing and snap your wrist downward through the ball.
Practice throwing a tennis ball across the yard, along the line, at an acute angle - where you want with your attack hit. Once you are comfortable throwing the tennis ball alone is a good block or other obstacles, so it is forced to throw in someone's hand as you addin a game.
